"Ball Handling"

Session #1:  This clinic focuses on the fundamentals of dribbling the basketball with proper techniques.  There's a high percentage of youth players who lack confidence and fundamentals in dribbling.  As a result, they lose control of the ball while dribbling quite often, and their eyes are constantly looking downward on the ball.  A great ball handler will have great vision on the court.  We're here to change the past, and look forward to your future of getting better!

Skills covered:  proper techniques when dribbling, eyes up, ball below the waist, guard arm for protection, a variety of dribbling drills with both left and right hand, changing directions, speed dribbles, catching the ball in triple threat, hand positioning, and much, much, more...

Clinic Dates & Times:  TBA

3 consecutive sessions with 4.5 total hours of instruction.

"Shooting Clinic"

Session #3:  This clinic focuses on the ability to shoot the basketball with correct form, trajectory, and most of all, confidence.  We will teach B.E.E.F principles for players to focus on the elements of a good shot.  We will build their shot from the ground up to increase their shooting percentage.  They will learn how to shoot off of the dribble, set shots, and learn to shoot off of screens.  Free throw shooting will also be incorporated in this clinic.

Skills Covered: Proper techniques of shooting, BEEF principles, catching the ball in triple threat, jump stop into their shot, 1-2 step, various shooting drills from all spots on the floor, shooting off the dribble & pass, proper free throw shooting techniques, form shooting, and much, much, more...

Clinic Dates & Times:   TBA

3 consecutive sessions with 4.5 total hours of instruction.

"Offensive Skills Clinic"

Session #2:  This clinic focuses on the fundamentals of creating your own shot.  Players will be taught how to make offensive moves with and without the ball.  Great offensive players know how to read and react to how the defense plays them, and can create their own shot.  We will help you develop this skill to be more of a threat.

Skills covered: dribble drive towards goal, learn a variety of moves to get past the defender such as hesitation, rocker step, in/out move, jab step, crossover just to name a few..., using back door cuts,v-cuts & l cuts to get open, creating separation & space, post play, and much, much, more...

"Defensive Skills Clinic"

Session #4:  This clinic focuses on proper defensive techniques that will allow players to be confident in stopping their opponent.  Youth league teams primarily run zone defenses with limited teaching of the principles of man defenses.  It is imperative for players to understand the principles of man defense as they move to middle & high school, it they don't, it will seem complexed & overwhelming.

Skills Covered:  Proper stance, close outs, rebounding, communication in man defense terminology (ready, ball, dead, shot), slides with changing direction, man-to-man defensive principles and drills, transition defense, understanding of half court defense, denial's and how to play the passing lanes, pivoting-footwork, and much, much, more...
