DWAYNE WILLIAMS
Coach Dwayne Williams brings over 25 years of basketball experience as a collegiate and professional player, high school and AAU coach, program director, college counselor, and YMCA volunteer coach. As the owner and director of All American Basketball Camp, he is passionate about developing fundamentally sound players.
Coach Williams' journey is an inspiring one. Without playing organized basketball growing up, he honed his skills on neighborhood courts before earning a tryout at Southern Nazarene University through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. His dedication and hard work led him to become a standout player on the university's 1996 men's basketball team.
Coach Williams earned First Team All-Conference, Sooner Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and became the first player in Southern Nazarene University history to be named an NAIA Division I First Team All-American. He averaged 21.1 points and 7.4 rebounds as a senior, set the school's single-game scoring record with 44 points, finished with over 1,400 career points, and went on to play professionally in the USBL, IBA, and Mexico.
Holding Basketball Camps for Kids Since 2009
Under the direction of Coach Dwayne K. Williams, along with a premier coaching staff, All American Basketball Camp welcomes boys and girls aged 5–18 to camps, clinics, and group and private training sessions. These are filled with essential learning of the game of basketball. These camps and clinics put emphasis on the fundamentals of the game and are hosted in a competitive atmosphere, where campers benefit from a wealth of experienced instructors.
All our hardworking coaches complete the nucleus of the camp's instructional methods. They give participants first-hand insight and training on what it takes to improve and develop on and off the court.
We take pride in building each camper’s self-esteem and bringing out the best in them (both mentally and physically). We encourage kids daily to be motivated and understand that what they learn in the camps and clinics can carry them throughout their journey in life.
